Thank you for shopping with JRW Design Co.! We're a tiny team — just me, my mom, and Leanne — handcrafting every single sign from scratch in Central Ohio. Nothing here is pre-made, mass-produced, or sitting in a warehouse. Your order exists because you placed it. These policies help us keep things running smoothly so we can keep making magic for you.
Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Please allow 4–6 weeks for your order to arrive. Every sign is handmade from scratch after you place your order — so production time is built right into that window. If you're within that timeframe, you're exactly where you should be! We appreciate your patience while we build something made just for you. 💙
Why does it take that long?
Because your sign doesn't exist until you order it. We don't pre-make inventory or pull from stock. Mom builds the frame by hand, I cut and assemble the laser-cut pieces, we paint, stain, and finish everything ourselves — then we pack and ship with care. That's what "handmade with love" actually looks like behind the scenes.
Are you ever on backorder?
✋ Heads up: Yes — and we'll always be upfront about it. Because we make everything ourselves, life sometimes gets in the way: busy seasons, scheduling shifts, or just the realities of running a small handmade shop. If your order runs longer than the standard window, we'll reach out and keep you in the loop. We'd always rather be real with you than leave you wondering. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! Free U.S. shipping on orders $75 or more — that's any two framed signs. It's applied automatically at checkout — no code needed.
What if I place multiple orders?
Each order ships separately and shipping is charged per order. We can't combine orders or refund duplicate shipping after checkout — so make sure you have everything in your cart before you check out!
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the United States. We're working on international options for the future!
Orders
Can I change my order?
Changes are only possible within 12 hours of placing your order, and only if production hasn't started. Because we build your sign quickly after you order, that window closes fast. Email magicmail@jrwd.co immediately if you need to make a change.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellations are only possible within 12 hours of ordering. After that, your sign may already be in production — and once we've started building it, we can't cancel or reverse the materials and time that went into it.
Communications & Privacy
How do you use my email address?
When you sign up for our email list or place an order, we may use your email address to send marketing emails, product updates, shop announcements, and special offers from JRW Design Co. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
How do you use my phone number?
If you choose to provide your phone number, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from JRW Design Co. at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help at any time. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Do you share or sell my information?
Never. Your information is used only for JRW Design Co. communications and is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Returns & Refunds
What's your return policy?
All sales are final. Because every sign is handmade specifically for you after you order — built from scratch, by hand, in our Central Ohio shop — we're not able to accept returns for a change of mind. Each piece is crafted just for your castle. That's what makes it special. ✨
What if my order arrives damaged?
That's on us, and we will make it right. Email magicmail@jrwd.co within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We'll take it from there — whether that's a replacement or a refund. 💙
What if my package is lost?
Reach out to us at magicmail@jrwd.co with your order number. We'll investigate and work with you to find a solution.
Handmade Items
What are the signs made of?
Real wood. Every piece. Laser-cut letters, hand-painted backgrounds, and hand-stained wood frames built by Mom. Everything is assembled by hand in Central Ohio. Not printed. Not dropshipped. Not sitting in a warehouse. Handmade — after you order — by real people who care about what they're sending you.
Why do signs have slight variations?
Because they're handmade! You might notice slight wood grain variation, tiny burn marks from laser cutting, or small amounts of visible adhesive. These aren't flaws — they're fingerprints. Proof that real hands made your sign. ✨
Is every sign truly made to order?
Yes — 100%. We don't keep inventory or pre-build signs to have on hand. When you place your order, that's when your sign is born. Mom sources the wood, I design and cut the pieces, we paint and assemble everything by hand, then pack it with care. The 4–6 week window isn't delay — it's the time it takes to actually make your sign. Every time.
